I got a pretty sweet deal on pizza, barbecue and ice cream at Giant today. The first deal is for Lloyd's barbecus and is advertised on the front page of the circular; looks like it is part of a three day sale Jan. 30 to Feb. 1. The Lloyd's barbecue is on sale for $4.99, and you get free Giant brand hamburger rolls with the barbecue. My newspaper had a 75 cent coupon for Lloyd's barbecue in the 12-7 smart source insert. Giant doubles the coupon, so for $3.49 I got the barbecue and the hamburger rolls.
The second deal is this week's real deal meal, advertised on the back page. Freschetta pizza is on sale 2 for $10. When you but a freshetta pizza, you get a giant brand 2 liter soda and giant brand ice cream free. With the $1.00 off freschetta pizzamore pizza coupon in the january 4 smart source, I paid just $4.00 for pizza, soda and ice cream. I made two identical transactions for the barbecue and pizza deal. I purchased pork and beef barbecue, both in original sauce, and a double pepperoni pizza and a ten ingredient supreme pizza. I also brought home root beer and black cherry soda (I hope this will taste a little like Cheerwine, which we cannot buy in this area) and toffee bar and creme de menthe ice cream.
