Mission: Free Razor Blades

I set out this afternoon to bring home some free items for my family. Today I had a specific target: free razor blades. I picked up several gillette fusion razor blaces last month, free after rebates. Now I needed razor blades for them. A pack of 4 razor blades costs 12 or 13 dollars. I didn't want to pay that.

The gillette fusion gamer razor is on sale for $8, at CVS, and you get back $4 in extra care bucks (store credit) when you purchase the razor, limit one. Use the $4 off gillette fusion razor from the december proctor and gamble insert (special olympics photo on front), and you will get the razor free. But that is not all. Use the coupon for free gilette shampoo with the purchase of a razor (december proctor and gamble, photo of a lady serving punch to a little boy) and you will get the shampoo free too. When you purchase the shampoo, you will receive $3 in extra care bucks, limit 5. The transaction looks like this:

CVS has put some of the gillette fusion power razors on clearance for $6. I found four. Each time I purchased a razor on clearance I picked up a bottle of gillette shampoo. I used the $4 off gillette fusion razor coupons, december p & g insert, and the free shampoo when you buy a razor coupons.

Today I brought home four of the $6 razors, one of the new gamer razors and five bottles of gillette shampoo. Each $6 razor comes with one blade and a double a battery. The new gamer razor comes with 2 blades. So, I have 6 new razor blades and 4 batteries. I also have five bottles of shampoo. I paid mostly with extra care bucks. I used a money card I received when I returned some items, $1.70 cash. I earned back about $7 more extra care bucks than I spent, so I purchased 2 bottles of arm & hammer laundry detergent, which were on sale buy one get one free. I also picked up some Stacy pita chips with a $1.50 off coupon. I hope to find some more coupons tomorrow.
